Why Paper Is A Great App For Kids Too
Paper (winner of an Apple Design Award) is a beautiful iPad app that is perfect for handwritten notes, drawings, diagrams….. and entertaining the kids.
Each of my kids have their own notebook (which they can customise by choosing their own cover – either one of the predelivered options, or a photo from the iPad camera roll).
Then within the notebook they can draw away using their fingers using the pens and colours in the app. Because it is so simple and intuitive they were experts within 5 minutes! Adding more pages is as simple as clicking a button.
This creates a lovely portfolio of drawings over time for them to look back on. Sharing to Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr – or emailing their works of art to grandparents – can all be done with one click from the app. Perfect. You can even create a pdf of the whole journal for emailing or sending to apps like EverNote or Dropbox.
This quick video shows how simple and intuitive Paper is. I love it. I use it for diagrams, quick doodles and sketching ideas.

Oh my! Paper is SUPER COOL!!! Thanks for sharing! I also use Draw Pad Pro – but its more technical I think!
