Finding Twitter or your RSS feed a bit boring lately? Sick of the same old same old?

If your 7 year itch has arrived then it might be time to find some fresh content to inject into your stream or RSS feed to revitalise it a bit. Here are a few ways to do that:

  1. Choose the top 3 people you follow on Twitter who you find interesting. Look them up on and see who their Klout influencers are. Follow some of these people.
  2. Take a look at the Twitter lists your top Twitter influencers have created or are following.  You can find these by going to the Twitter profile of someone using and clicking on Lists (under Favourites). Subscribe to some of these lists or these people.
  3. Check out a content curation site that suggests articles based on categories you select (eg Design, Technology, Leadership etc). My current favourites are Flipboard for iPhone/iPad and LinkedIn Today. Other sites like Digg, StumbledUpon and Delicious also show whats trending on their sites which may unearth some new gems for you.
  4. Check out the blogs of some of your key influencers – they may have a blog roll of other blogs that they enjoy reading – take a look at these and add to your RSS.

These are just some of the ways I seek out new content on Twitter and the web. Share any others that you use in the comments section below.
